Algiers, 11/25/2023 – The Algerian Higher School of Business (ESAA) launched its innovative program “ESAA Eco-Innovation Challenge” which took place from November 23 to 25, 2023. This program, sponsored by the ministries of Trade and the Promotion of Exports, the Environment and Renewable Energy, the Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Micro-Enterprises, as well as Digitization and Statistics, is an entrepreneurial competition aimed at to develop innovative solutions in different themes.

The entrepreneurial competition organized for 03 days at the school level, saw the participation of 15 promising projects, preselected by a jury of experts among 120 projects received from the four corners of the country, following the call for applications launched on the 29th. last October. Several activities, workshops and hackathons were on offer to support project leaders and help them present their work to the jury.

“ESAA Eco-Innovation Challenge” is part of a proactive approach responding to urgent environmental and economic issues such as climate change, resource scarcity and ecological degradation.

Furthermore, and on the sidelines of this event, the ESAA represented by its general director Mr. Karim KIARED signed partnership agreements with the Commission for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, represented by its general secretary Mr. Messaoud KHELIF , as well as with the National Waste Agency, represented by its general director Mr. Karim OUAMANE. Thus strengthening the school’s commitment to specialized training and supervision in key sectors of sustainable development.
